Automatic Updater Crashes

When I restart my computer or Logos 4 the updater appears in the menu bar and says it is 0% done of 1.8gb of updates. It stays running for about 5 seconds and then consistently crashes. I was running alpha 5 so I downloaded the latest version manually from the logos link and installed that. Now it opens and says alpha 6 but still the updater crashes. I restarted the system and the it comes up but again crashes. Any advice. I can't update.

I am adding my log files as I see that is what everyone else is doing. And I guess the official name for what is crashing is the indexer. But it crashes while trying to update not index, I think3808.Indexer.log

Do you have Logos 1.2 for Mac installed as well? It seems a lot of users are having trouble with L4 installed in parallel with Logos 1.2 for Mac. L4 should run side by side with Logos 1.2 for Mac, but it appears that something broke. I'm going to take a look at this today to see if I can figure out what's going on.

What has worked for other users, as a temporary solution, is to uninstall Logos 1.2.

Hi Tom,

Yes I already downloaded a-6 and got it to work but the indexer still crashes. I do not have logos 1.2 installed. I do have Logos 4 installed on a parallels virtual machine but it is not running when the crash occurs. I don't know if that could effect anything...

Any more ideas?
