you may want to hide and unhide the ESV to force download of the most current version.

Entering "update resources" in the command box will force a check of all resources and should download the latest ESV version (without going through the multiple restarts required to hide and unhide).

It's likely that this problem was caused by the bug in 4.6 that blocked updates to the preferred Bible; this is now fixed in 4.6b. Lingering out-of-date resources can be fixed with "update resources".

I was aware of "update resources" finding missing volumes, but overlooked that it also compares the version's last update.
