Safe to uninstall Logos 4 (Mac) after installing Logos 5 (Mac)

I recently upgraded to Logos 5 for Mac. The installation did not remove Logos 4 from my Applications folder. My new application of L5 is running well. Is it safe to now uninstall my old Logos 4 application. Should I use a more thorough app remover like AppZapper or will that possibly remove portions of Logos 5? Is it saver to just move Logos 4 app to trash?
Thanks.

Just move the app to trash - see discussions at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/65686.aspx and elsewhere for more details

Thanks! This is exactly what I needed to know. I installed L5 on Feb. 3, 2013, so it's still installing beside the L4 app, leaving the old one in the Apps Folder. After installing L5, the L4 app will NOT open; it's just there! I'll move it to trash, but NOT AppZapper it! Thanks!

L5 Mac reused the directory path from L4 Mac. The initial install of L4 named a folder in this string as Logos4. Since L5 Mac is installed by simply dragging the new application into the Applications Folder, the Logos4 folder could not be renamed, so it must remain—or the heart of L5 Mac will be removed. I never let AppTrap, AppZapper, or MacKeeper remove anything associated with L4/L5 Mac.
BTW: Love that family name [8-|]

Yeah, I love it too! Unfortunately, it's never garnered me any discounts back in the USA at an Apple Store! It has helped in crossing various European borders, interestingly enough!
Thanks for your help, Jack. I've watched your posts through the years & have always thought them insightful. I feel privileged to have you help with my request. Thanks!
