I think this problem has existed for a while. I encountered it again today.
When I try to re-search from the search results page, requesting the results to be sorted by "Newest First," I get the error message page.
The steps that I took:
- I was in the iPhone/iPad forum and and searched for "indexing" from that page.
- When the results appeared, I left the search term the same and refined the search by searching just the iPhone/iPad forum and asking for the results to be sorted by "Newest First"
- Error page
- Back button
- I searched again in the single forum but left the sort by "Relevance"
- That search succeeded
- I tried sorting by "Newest First" again
- Error page; back button
- I navigated a few pages into the results that were sorted by Relevance and re-tried the sorted search
- Error page
I know the forum searching isn't great to begin with, but that is my most typical method to search when I do search the forums using the forum search: within a single forum, sorted by "Newest First."
Can this please get corrected?
