BUG: Short Names in Tabs

Why hasn't "New Century Version" changed to "NCV"? It's short name IS NCV. This is one of those small but really irritating things to me. Ugh. Smile

    The software does its best to display as many of the titles in as long a form as possible to improve clarity as to what each tab contains. About the best I can suggest is to open more tabs in that panel, or make the window/panel narrower.

    Yep. That's one of my 'I've given up' issues.  I've never figured out 'what' the algorythm might be since I pride myself on being human, and suspect the software is also written by humans.

    Of course, the battle (on my Windows version) is really between black book covers (instead of the short title that I made REALLY short), long-titles that produce black book covers (and don't use short-title abbreviations), and the whole shebang seemingly easy to fix (don't know about the whole lotta shakin tabs a while back).

    The additional mystery is very recent; the popup on the tab is also nutty, sometimes using 'my' title and sometimes using the original title.
