When should we expect a significant discount with regards to upgrading to a bigger package, i.e. Platinum. Does this happen once a year or so or should we expect (as I have been told) that prices will indeed increase even more.

Since Logos just had introductory pricing for L5 base packages, I wouldn't expect to see anything significant for a while. There is normally a big sale in March, but not for base packages.
Good! Here's something else. If one purchases a particular volume from a commentary set, i.e. NIC, was / does not the volume / book that one purchases go towards the price if one later purchases the whole set later?
Let's say I buy two volumes from MacArthur's Commentary - later I decide to buy the whole set. I thought the price I paid for the two volumes would be deducted from the price of the full set, should I decide to buy the full set (well, remained of the set in this case) later. Was this something that Logos had on for a bit or does it not still apply today.

Talk with Sales about individual purchases like this, but any discount would be pro-rata e.g. If the full set that includes them is discounted by 20%, then you can expect to be discounted by 80% of what you paid for the 2 volumes.
Base package titles typically come at 10% of normal price, so your $50 purchase will get you a $5 discount for the package!
Thanks Dave for the reply. Obviously I've misunderstood something along the line somewhere, which really results in no problem whatsoever. :-)
