History of Papal Resignations

Hi Everyone,
I know that most have heard in the news about the voluntary resignation of Pope Benedict XVI effective this week. While it may seem to many people as another news event, I would like to point out the outstanding, leading role Logos has done in putting the historic event in perspespective.
For those that are not familiar, Dr. Andrew Jones (Logos Catholic Products Manager and Ecclisiatical (Church) Historian) has put together a brief, but serious essay on the subject of Papal resignations.
You can find it at Verbum Blog.
On a personal note, I truly appreciate Bob and the Logos team helping the Catholic community. What a blessing!!!!

And if you want to hear him talk about it (and some chatter about Verbum's prospect), here's a couple of interviews with Jimmy Akin:Steve said:For those that are not familiar, Dr. Andrew Jones (Logos Catholic Products Manager and Ecclisiatical (Church) Historian) has put together a brief, but serious essay on the subject of Papal resignations.
