Hello,

I am trying to search for all the words that are in the wayyiqtol (Qal, Imperfect, 3rd, masc., sing.) syntatical form in Ruth 3 in the Biblica Hebraica Stuttargensia (BHS) resource. How do you search specific forms in Logos 5? And am I able to specify the resource and location that I want to search. I need to be specific. If I search wayyiqtols found throughout BHS, I'm sure it would return thousands of results. Fill me in, please. Blessings!

    Hi Jeffrey

Basically you need to do a morphological search with the terms you are interested in on the passage you select.

    Please see example below:

For details on morph search please see http://wiki.logos.com/Morphological_Search

    Hope this helps

    Welcome Jeffrey

You select Morph Search within the Search function, choose your BHS resource, enter and then select the specifics of the form as shown below. click the arrow at bottom right to complete your input.

To restrict the range click on All Passages (next to All Morph Text) and type Ruth (or Ruth 3) into the text box and hit Enter.

For more information see the wiki article http://wiki.logos.com/Morphological_Search
