Are you running it along side the SR, or using it instead of the SR?
I did both. Now I have just Beta as my main Logos 4 installation. It works just fine. No crashes for me.
Separate Account in Vista - along side SR-7. Thinking of overwriting as the betas get more stable.
Chris
On my laptop I am only running the beta. Desktop only SR7
Fearlessly running Beta3 on my main machine. No crashes, some nice improvements, and overall faster response.
Jerry
I started with a seperate account on my laptop.
Now, I am running only Beta on both laptop and desktop.
No problems!
I mainly ran SR-7, but now that Beta 3 is out I'm going to start using that more.
However, my highlighting in the beta does not sync to SR-7, which is very annoying right now.
Does anyone know if this is a bug that will be fixed?
Terry,
I started by creating a new user account in Win 7...but after Beta 2 came out I felt comfortable enough with the stability of the Beta and have since 1) overwritten the SR-7 release with the Beta 2 (now Beta 3) release, and 2) since have even deleted the new user account. Nothing but smooooth sailing so far.

If I remeber it right, I lost my highliting also as I installed L4A Beta. Since then it "survived" updates of 2 new Betas.
Once I got the beta to install on a separate account (not until B2) I went ahead and ran it for a day and then back in my main account overwrote the Sr7 install.
I have it as main install on my desktop and laptop but my church PC has the latest public release since I don't like to live on the edge at the office. It HAS to work there.
I've got a separate user account on Windows 7
instead
I am using B3 on my desktop and SR7 on my laptop (just in case :-)
Overwrote the SR on my laptop a few days after the maiden post-L4 launch Beta was dropped. No crashes thus far. L4B4 installed tonight, sync'ed and is up and running fine ... to this point.
Thanks for all the input, I initially cloned the VM that I run the SR in, but I think I may just create a separate account like many of you have. Not ready to overwrite SR yet, although that may not be far off.
I'm running it as my only installation. No problems with crashes so far.
