Lost place in book when leaving Logos and coming back
I have had an issue for a while with using Logos on my Android tablet (1GB Ram, 7" 1024x600 Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus, ICS 4.0.4). The problem is that when I read in a book for a while, then go back to the homescreen or another app, and eventually open enough apps that Logos is closed out of memory, my place in that book is lost, and returns to the original location (for instance, I open the app, it's in Mark 4 in the ESV Bible, I go to Numbers, read for a while, finish reading, go into other apps all day, next morning, I come back, and it's in Mark 4). I've had this happen with multiple resources across both the Logos and the Faithlife app. My wifi is typically off during the entire usage of Logos, and when I go back into it. I also didn't open Logos on any other device in between (so it's not 'syncing' the other location from somewhere else).
I think what is happening (from my little knowledge of Android's memory management), is that Logos doesn't save location when you just 'leave' the app by going to the homescreen. Then, after opening enough apps that Android needs more memory, Logos gets closed while in the background, and must open up again the next day, having lost the position in the book.
So, my question is, first, can this be fixed, and second, is there a workaround for now (like closing via the back button, or the menu or something) so that location is not lost every time? It's not so hard for Bible reading because I keep track of where I am, but reading other books it gets really annoying.
Thanks to the Logos developers for all the great work they have been doing!!!

It looks like this only occurs if you are offline. We can reproduce this issue, thank you for your detailed information!
Thanks for your support!

I have the same issue, and likewise it seems to be only when offline (Arnova G3 7"). Any prospect of a fix to this? I mainly use the tablet offline, for the sake of having more than about 30 minutes' battery life...
