A6 installed but not downloading the updates

I downloaded the A6 after completely uninstalling A4 due to it locking up. The A6 will open up but it is stuck on the downloading updates part 0% of 5.88 GB... is there anyway to ge this process moving. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still not downloading the updates, even with computer running all night.

In other threads on this forum, some have reported conflicts between A-6 and Logos 1.2 for Mac. Do you have that version installed? The temporary solution is to remove L 1.2.

Please clarify. Do you mean to remove the application or to completely uninstall the application, i.e., removing the resources as well?
