When I make notes or highlight passages in the faithlife study bible, is it saved somewhere like on iCloud? Just would not like all my notes and highlights to be lost if something happened to my ipad.

thanks

It's saved on Logos' servers which are "in the cloud", in this case at Amazon's datacenter, as far as we know.

Notes and highlights are saved in the same file format as "notes" and can be retrieved (even undeleted and shared with other users, if you wish) from documents.logos.com

How do I access them? The ones on the logos server, or amazon data

Your notes are stored on the Logos servers… Logos happens to use Amazon data centers , but that is irrelevant to you and I. Most every company (banks, retailers, newspapers, "dot coms") use one of the big companies such as Amazon or Google to host their data.

There isn't a website that you can visit to see this data… it is a "cloud" service. If you lose your iPad due to theft or accident, simply load Logos on a new device. Once you enter you username & password, your info will download. You can test this by deleting the app from your device now. [;)]

EDIT: Visiting documents.logos.com will allow you to "publish," "collaborate," "delete," or "duplicate" the note files… but it won't allow you to SEE the note files. For that, you need to be on your mobile or desktop app.
