Force quit on mac every time

If i leave logos 5 open overnight it will not close properly. I also think it happens even after my macbook goes into sleep mode. I do leave it running for several reasons but (for example) in order to return to the "home" screen with the updated "USAtoday" front page I have "force close" the program on my macbook. Any suggestions? Thanks and you guys and gals are great!!

Logs will be necessary for the technically inclined to diagnose the problem.
The most convenient way to enable logging is to use the Applescript LogosLogging by KS4J. (Restart of Logos needed after enabling)
Then use Logos Log Scribe to create an archive of the logs on your desktop.
Use the paperclip on the message prep window to attach.
NOTE: You will need to activate Logos Log Scribe prior to restarting Logos, and restart overwrites previous logs.
If you need further information, let us know.

Haven't seen that one before. Perhaps KS4J will visit this thread. It is his AppleScript, so he may know what has gone wrong.
In the interim, you might consult How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac in the Wiki for more conventional instructions.
Personally, I do not normally leave L5 running overnight, and have not seen this problem.

Hi Daniel,
I'm sorry for the trouble. Our official logging method, though not as easy as the applescript you were linked to, does the job. Please follow the instructions here: www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/logging

Applescript application is unsigned so if want to use it, need to let OS X GateKeeper allow execution. Reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/61302/434641.aspx#434641 mentions control + click on Applescript, then open.
Keep Smiling [:)]

Next time you need to force quit, collect the logs in an archive and post them to this thread. As I mentioned earlier, Logos Log Scribe will create an archive of the logs on your desktop.

Hello Daniel,
Would it be possible to give us a call? You can get to support at 1(800)875-6467, 6:00am-5:00pm Pacifc, M-F. We should be able to capture those logs for you if you're having trouble.
Note: It is important that we do not re-open Logos before the logs are collected. Please avoid this if possible.
