Able to force commentary to open in specific column?

How can I force a commentary that has a link from Passage Guide to open in a particular column? For example, I have passage guide open in left column, Bibles in middle column, and commentaries (and others) open in right column. Every link for commentaries opens in middle column (where Bibles are) rather than where I want them (3rd column - right). I can drag and drop commentary, but is there a way to get it done automatically?

    You can click and drag on the link and drop it in the tile where you want that commentary to open. Not as good as what you want (set up all links to commentaries to automatically open in a particular tile), but better than clicking once and having it open in the wrong tile and then having to drag it to the right place after the fact.

    But yes, this is a feature that has been requested before. If I could find it on UserVoice I'd direct you there to vote for it, but I don't see it.
