Lean and mean installation of Logos

Is it possible to install a copy of Logos that only includes a few key resources? I know I can hide resources, but that will hide them on all of my computers. But I only want to install a limited number of resources on one computer, as you could in Libronix, or as you can for offline use on the Android/iPad apps.

The short answer is no. The long answer is that you could attempt this through hiding resources (as you mentioned), if you made sure the installation didn't connect to the internet. Personally, I don't think the gamble would be worth it if there were any chance of the app connecting to the internet.

Yes, wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers (PC) and => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs#Copy_Logos_Resources_to_Mac_OS_X (Mac) with installation instructions that use scan command, followed by restarting Logos.  Scan copies resource files from specified path and indexes them for use in Logos (4 and/or 5).  The resource path can have a few key resources and datasets.

For a Logos installation with smallish set of resources scanned for use, recommend setting Automatically Download Updates to No (avoid downloading other Library resources).  Optionally could set Use Internet to No.
