hello, i notice that logos 4 updates itself a lot. sometimes in the gigabits of downloads. is there an patch update location that i can read on what's being updated?
thanks,
Johnny
yes, you can read the log files.
As a general rule if the update is under 40 or so MB it is probably a program update. If it is in the GBs then updated resources are probably coming down. If you haven't merged indexes after a supplemental index is created and Basic search results show up in a "New Resources" section and you can get some ideas of what was updated if you don't want to dig through the log files. The log files, of course, are the thorough way to do things.
can you tell me where the log is located? so i can view it?
The logs are in My Documents\Logos Log Files, if you have logging turned on.
This wiki page has info on how to turn on logging:
