When I click on open on any book in my personal book I gent a message that says "You don't have a license to view this resource, but here's a preview....." and a link to Logos web site. Anybody have any ideas how to access my personal books?
I think I recall having a similar problem when I installed L5 during the private Beta. If I recall correctly I recompiled the PB and it worked fine. Are you trying to open it from the library or PB tool?
Welcome to the forums.
How did you install L5? Personal Books don't sync, so if you made a fresh install from the cloud, you will have to recompile the books. If you just installed on top of L4, however, everything should have worked as before.
Thanks to all for you quick responses. I think I know what the problem is. I just updated to L5 and it dawned on me that this is a new computer and my old PB files are not associated with this computer so I won't be able to recompile until I transfer my files over from my external hard drive.
Yep. That would be the problem[:)] I know Logos is working on a way for PB's to sync between computers and platforms; hopefully we will see something in Beta in the near future

You might want to consider a solution like Dropbox… This would allow you to always have access to your source files, no matter what computer you are on.
