Logging -

I am running 4.oa Beta 3 in a Windows 7 professional VM in Fusion 3.
From what I have been able to glean on the board, I put L4 into logging mode by holding the control key down while opening the program, the logging files will be saved to a sub-directory of my documents. Is this correct?
How do I tell if I made it into logging mode? I have a reproducible crash, and I can not seem to get this thing to generate logs. Can someone give me a hand?
Never mind just found the wiki article:

If logging is enabled there will be a directory in My Documents called "Logos Log Files"
A number of us have had no luck with the ctrl option.
You can download a run a small javascript program from here: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging This will enable logging and you can then post your logos4.log.
