When I try to open Proclaim on my home computer, I get the following message: Cannot be started-Contact Application Vender
3603.ProclaimError.log
7851.ProclaimCrash.txt
55187.Proclaim.log
4744.awesomium.log
I believe one of the Proclaim files may have been corrupted on your computer while applying the last update. Please try uninstalling Proclaim and reinstall the latest version from the following URL.
http://www.proclaimonline.com/clickonce/proclaim.application
I cannot remove the program through "add or remove programs". It tries to "verify application" but cannot. How can I uninstall proclaim?
I got the program removed with a third party uninstaller. However, the link you supplied still tries to "verify application" and fails.
I am having the same issue, came to the church this morning to update and get ready and I'm getting the same message. I also can't remove the program with uninstall. It has to be something in the last build, when I started up the program loaded and then hung itself, couldn't do anything but a hard shut down and now nothing.
I have sent you some steps to try and resolve this issue via email.
I have also sent you some troubleshooting steps to try.
Emailed solution did not work, luckly there is a second user signon on this pc that works,
I went to Roger's house and attempted to get it going for him. No dice. I was wondering if it could in anyway be connected to a corrupted Microsoft Security Essentials download. He was recently dl'ing and the power went out. It's stuck (for now) and won't install. I realize this is not a Windows help forum, but I'm just posting what I saw on the computer wondering if the two are connected. It was KB2804527 (4.2.223.1). There is no second user signon for Roger though...at least not yet.
The current work around for Roger's computer was creating a secondary Window's Log-in. He or I could really use some help getting Proclaim on the primary Widows user working again. (Great call Greg on the second user!)
Can we completely remove any trace of Proclaim from the primary user? He used a third party un-installer because Windows wouldn't do delete the program. I'm thinking/hoping, if Proclaim is completely removed, it can be installed fresh and work fine.
OR
Is there a new release that can update this bug?
If you re-download the engine it should over-write anything already on the system.

If Windows Installer isn't removing his Proclaim application that's a bad sign. Typically we see that with corrupted system files.
You might have him try running the Repair function of the Windows Installation disc.
Otherwise, have him give us a call at 1-800-875-6467 to troubleshoot this more in-depth.
