Someting is wrong with the passage list.
the add from cliboard does not work. it is highlighted, but it doesn't do anyting? anybody else have this problem?
I really like this feature , saves alot of time for me.

I cannot duplicate this problem in 5.1 Beta 1. I checked both "clipboard" and "selected text" I do not have a 5.0b installation available right now to check that.
This may be obvious and I intend no disrespect; but are you sure you have copied the the selected text to the clipboard?
Hi Fredc, thanks for replying. What I do is copy. fpr instance, a portion of text on a web page, and then paste it into the passage list.....and, of course, Logos would just mine the narrative for its scripture references and disregard the rest. But, even though the option for copy text button is highlighted , it just acts as if the button was dead?? I repeated the process of copying the text several times, so I know that I did copy it.
The way this tool is intended to work for copying from the clipboard is:
The verses / passages from your clipboard should be inserted in the Passage List.
If you are still having problems post a link to the specific web page you are trying to copy from and I'll take a look at it.

I wnet back to the website, and I noitced that it gave a Scripture ref with a , like this(James,1.4 I got rid of the coma, and it worked fine.....Thanks for all you help! Monty
