This is a copy of a post over in suggestions. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6299.aspx) It seems to kind of be there in v4 but not quite. Here is what I am seeing in 4.0a beta 3.
In V4 if you click on a verse number, it becomes the current verse in the reference box for that panel. However, linked resources do not change and follow it.
Here is the behaviour I am seeing:
- For example, I currently have Acts 10:30 as the current verse for my ESV which is linked to NA27 Int. The reference box for the ESV and NA27 have Acts 10:30 in them.
- I click on the verse number 34 in the ESV
- The reference box changes to Acts 10:34 in the ESV. The NA27 remains as it was in #1
- Nothing else changes on the screen.
- I click on the arrow in the reference box on the esv (which now has Acts 10:34 in it)
- Nothing happens
- I type the number 34 in the reference box and click the arrow
- My bible changes to acts 10:34 being near the top, my linked resources change to be Acts 10:34
It seems that the expected behaviour here would be to have clicking on a verse be the same as typing the number and then pressing the arrow (step 2 should produce the results of step 7)
It also seems that if the reference box has something in it, clicking the go arrow would move you to that passage for that resource and all the linked resources even if you did not type the reference in (as in step 5 above).
I am not sure what the purpose of this feature is as it currently works.

Clinton
