Error on March Madness page

The second link actually takes you to King Jesus Gospel, so I'm guessing this is a copy'n'paste error.

Another error: the headings for Round 2 voting are still the ones from last year (US Pastors / EU Scholars) and should be updated to this year's modern/classic scheme

Well, I have what I'd call a far more serous bug: I can't vote! Or, to be more exact, when I just opened the new round for the first time, only five Vote buttons showed up. The other eleven pairs looked like I had already voted. But I haven't! And there's absolutely no one else who has access to this computer -- not even a cat.

To make it even more intriguing, the bug has managed to vote the opposite of what I would in almost every race.[:O] Wiersbe over Wright? Yeah, that's a very likely vote from me... Wright is pretty much the only guy on that chart I'm interested in!

I presume I could probably get my voting rights back by deleting some cookie, but I'll hold off until Logos has looked at this, in case they need some more info from me. Besides, it's not just a question of me being able to add my real votes. There's also eleven false votes that should be deleted. And presumably other false votes from other people. Bugs don't generally affect just one person.

a) Then it would have showed in round 1 as well, wouldn't it?

b) I'm 99.9% certain I've cleared all cookies since then.

However, a simple refresh turned out to make the page look normal again, so that part of the issue is solved. I'm just wondering about those false votes. I do have a screenshot to prove it happened.[:)]

I spoke far too soon. I went and looked at the Get Deals page, and when I clicked back, all sixteen pairs showed up as if I'd already voted. And I still haven't.[*-)]

At least this time my alter ego had had the sense to vote for Wright over Wiersbe.[:D]

OK, now I have the opposite problem.[:O] The page finally showed up correct again. I cast a few votes, then I got an issue with Safari and had to restart, and now it's like I've never voted at all.[:^)]

Could it be Ghostery and DNTM that's causing all this? Something that I ought to allow? If so, what? Or is it on Logos' end? If so, it really needs to be fixed ASAP.

I'm having this looked into.

I first experienced some slight issues with the browser caching when we launched the 2nd round on Saturday. I haven't had any issues since.

I'll see what I can do.

Today I'm getting a page that looks like I haven't voted at all, but when I try to I get

The page is also extremely jumpy and almost impossible to position like I want it.

And now I refreshed it, and again got 12 'finished' results, and only 4 voting buttons. And again those 'votes' aren't mine (back to Wiersbe[:(]).

I have now tried three different browsers, removing cookies, and disabling Ghostery and DNTM, and I still can't vote. Why can't you fix this? It worked perfectly fine last year, as far as I can remember, and it's essentially the same page, isn't it?

One more small one re MarchMadness page: the final voting switched names for me on IE 9: I voted for D.A. Carson while he was displayed left as "Modern", afterwards the page showed him right under "Legacy"

I'm unclear about the votes, do they reflect the name or the page side?

Btw, would you mind putting a '(Logos)' after your name? The icon doesn't show up when you read via e-mail, and just 'Steve' isn't quite unique enough to distinguish you from other Steve's. Wink
