Reinstall after Windows 8 Refresh?

Is there anyway to avoid redownloading all of my books after a refresh? Also what happened to all of my PBB's? Thanks!

If you have them saved to another source, such as a flash drive or an external hard drive. Also, if you did not do an upgrade to win8 but a new computer that had win8 already there....you can copy the "resources" folder over - but nothing more, you may mess up the L5 install.
