Logical operators being 'found' as hits

I entered the search "eden NEAR (table OR altar)" and the results lists hits with the word "NEAR"?!?

Is this a bug?

Proximity operators cannot be combined with OR. You need to use the list operator (comma) to do what you're trying to do. Try this:

eden NEAR (table, altar)

Given that every new Logos user tries a search like that once they see how the various operators and parentheses generally work, it seems Logos ought to fix this and replace "OR" within parentheses with a comma on the user's behalf.
