Libary: blank title
If I do a search in my Library for "author:wright N. T." one of the titles shows up as blank.
When I click on that line it shows me in the right hand panel that the resource is "For All the Saints? Remembering the Christian Departed". The resource also shows a blank for the "Type" in this search.
If I do a Library search on "Title:Saints" the title line for this resource shows up as does the Type: Monograph and it similarly shows all if I do a search on "Publisher:SPCK"
Any ideas as to why the title shows as a blank when I do an author search ? This is not a new resource (downloaded May 27, 2011) and the system is not indexing.
Anyone else who has this resource have this blank title line when doing an author search on Wright ?

As a workaround, vary the column width slightly and it should appear! If you scroll through Library you will find other fields that are blank and can be fixed (temporarily) the same way.
The bug came with v5 and has been reported to Logos.

Very hard for Development to fix, because they've never been able to reproduce it at Logos, but multiple users have seen it intermittently. But we can't give them a reproducible case of it. Arggh! Irritating.

Interesting: With this title it seems that adjusting the column width of the previous column showing the cover icon is the only way to show the title (adjusting the end of the title column did not reveal the title). But then the Author column went blank - revealled by a column adjustment there - then the Publisher column went blank - all revealled by a third adjustment to that column - does not sem to affect any other title. Reducing the column widths again once all is revealled does not seem to make anything disappear again.
Playing around with it a bit I was able to do a slightly different search on "Wright N. T." rather than "author:Wright N. T.". This put a different book in row 20 of the search and the new search to title was blank on the same row, not for the same book. A search on "Wright" did not give me any blank title lines, nor did a search on "Wright T." but a search on "Wright N." gave a blank title (also author and type this time) in row 20 again. No blank lines with a search on "Wright Tom" but again a blank line at row 20 with a search on "Wright SPCK" (different title again, but same row). Seems to be consistent in the row in which it is appearing and seems to occur when the number of titles hit by the search is in the 40 to 100 range (ie: not seeing it with searches that hit only 20 or so titles and not seeing it if the number of titles is over 140.)

MAYBE if the specs of the computer that this showed on were sent to Logos Tech support [or posted here ] they 'might' find a computer that is similar has the same problem. Also if the user did a cold boot and then just ran Logos to see if they still had the problem or if it cleared up [that answers the interaction with other programs question] [Brand, CPU, memory, Bios and rev, operating system and rev., etc] [[And I did say MAYBE]]EDIT: Are there any MY TAGs or user Ratings on the book that might or might not be on other books of the same type?With the book NOT SHOWING move up and down the library list - any others missing? [[tracking down these types of problems were one of the things that I had fun banging my head against the wall back in the day]]

As per investigations this morning it does not seem to be related to the specific title but rather to the position in the displayed hit list (in my case row 20, title impacted depends on sort details but appears to consistently impact what shows in in the 20th row. Shows when the Library is displayed in a floating window.
Computer is HP m8530f running Vista home premium 64 bit SP2 (build 6002), 7GB Ram, AMD Phenom 9550 quad core 2.2GHz, dual display with HP 2509 monitor running at 1920*1080 (32bit)resolution on NVidia GeForce 9300 GE. BIOS: American Megatrends Inc 5.24, 23 June 2008
Logos 5 installed to Drive U (nothing else on this drive), drive has 66.9GB free.
NOT reproducable using same library on a different computer running Windows 7. (may be Vista specific ?)
Bug seen yesterday after working for a considerable time without a reboot (many days of intensive work) - reproduced the same this morning after an overnight reboot per MS security updates installed overnight.

In my case it is row 13. I've been seeing this for several months but never got around to posting it to the forum. The title, Community Tag and Ratings fields diplay, but that's it. Happens on laptop (Win8) as well as desktop (Win7).

Interesting, I have not found it yet on Windows 7, only on Vista.
This might help if we can narrow down your system specs per mine above. Anything in common ?

It has happened to me on Windows 7.
EDIT:
Version of Windows is probably not as important for reproducing as video hardware. I've got an AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series video adapter. Driver version 8.850.0.0 (4/19/2011), which is up-to-date.
For me it's line row when I first open my Library; then when I hit Page Down once, the glitch moves to row 14; then Page Down again causes it to move to row 13 thereafter for about 10 more Pages Downs, then row 15, 15, 14, 14, 15, and so on. This sequence seems consistent when I try the steps again and again.
