Notes shown in other translations

Wondering if this is normal.

i am using an ipad, when  I make a note using the selection the note does not appear in the other translations, but if  I do it with the reference , then it shows up in the other translations.

i realize i can add a highlights when I choose selection rather than referenceskis that why?

    Yes - this is normal.

    Notes by selection are resource-specific, notes by reference are visible in all resources with Bible indices (such as Bibles and Commentaries).

    Details on how notes work are at http://wiki.logos.com/Notes - while a lot of the details relate to the desktop application (Logos 4 or 5) the principles apply to mobile apps as well.
