Logos,
Is there any plan to include the Periods of the various Chinese Dynasties in Logos Timeline? Or is there someway a user can construct such a timeline within the Logos timeline from various sources such as : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynasties_in_Chinese_history
Thanks

I like it.
As a matter of fact there are some words in the Bible that are of Oriental origin[NO, I will not tell you, you look it up for yourself], which I always found fascinating.
Make it a suggestion and Uservioce vote and I will give you a couple.

Good question. Bob (the CEO) did commit to user created timelines. That was before the Logos5 event linking functionality.
Chinese dynasties are interesting because they keep popping up relative to the greeks and thense forward. I suppose Logos would have to 'draw the line' somewhere?
User timelines, as you mention, would be the best answer, especially if sharable as documents. Then you could have specific denominations, countries and so forth. I'd think it'd be especially useful when locally teaching the gospel.
Logos timelines are 'built' on data from existing Logos resources. So theoretically, if you have resources in Logos with this info, they could be tagged and provide the locations on the timeline. At least that's how we've been told they work.
So if you have such resources, you could encourage Logos to prioritize timeline data for those resources. If such resources don't exist, I'd encourage you to suggest one in the suggestions forum.
