Best resources for breakdown of OG Pap, MS, etc...

Hello friends,
I am a seminary student in my second semester of greek studies. I will begni my 3rd semester of greek exegesis next month. The professor wants us to order BibleWorks, but seeing as how I have already invested a couple grand in my logos library, I'd rather spend any needed extra money on my logos library for what I'll need in class.
For language resources, I have whatever was in the old Logos 4 silver package, plus the BDAG/Halot bundle. I might have a couple other resuorces I've picked up (specificially related to languages), but I can't remember off the top of my head.
I can see in Bibleworks that you can analyze what was on individal Manuscripts, Papyri, etc. Are there any resources in the logos library to add that would give me such functions?
In addition, my digital UBS4/NA27 doesn't seem to have the same textual footnotes that my physical copy has. I'd love to be able to have those footnotes, and when it says a certain word was in, say, P10 (or whatever), I'd love to be able to click on P10 and have it take me to a resource that has the text of that Papyri.
Does such a resource exist for Logos?
Thanks!

Hi Lynden, thanks for the reply. Not sure if I understand your response, or if perhaps you did not understand my question.
I already have Logos with academic pricing discount. I am looking to increase my libary to contain the resources that might allow me to do some new things, such as view the particulars of indivial manuscripts or papyri. For example, my UBS4 textual footnotes might mention a list of documents that use the possessive pronoun "nmwn' while other documents used the article 'tnv'. I'd like to have those types of criticisms in Logos, with the ability to click the individual manuscripts/papyri mentioned to view their texts myself.
If anyone has any other suggestions for resources that are particularly helpful for Greek exegetical work, I'd be happy to know of those as well.

http://www.logos.com/product/17655/na27-with-critical-apparatus or how about this? or maybe this? http://www.logos.com/product/21066/german-bible-society-bundle-student-edition
When I mouse over any of the words, I do not get a gloss or morphological info.

That picture you posted looks very useful. What resource is that? Does the critical apparatus in the NA27 link to that resource you posted?
It is found here. http://www.logos.com/product/7855/the-text-of-the-earliest-new-testament-greek-manuscripts I do not the critical apparatus of Na27. Just the regular one.

Yeah. Now I see why my NA27 and UBS4 don't have the critical apparatus. Product page says it's a legal issue. That is totally lame. I'd have to spend 70$ in logos to get the apparatus, when I spent 15$ on Amazon :-\
Thanks for the info.

Noticed => http://www.logos.com/product/2190/a-textual-commentary-on-the-greek-new-testament is included in Biblical Languages package. May want to ask Logos about academic pricing to add Biblical Language resources.
Couple more to consider => http://www.logos.com/product/15472/greek-new-testament-discourse-bundle and => http://www.logos.com/product/28217/greek-bundle-xl
SBL Edition product page includes apparatus insights => http://www.logos.com/product/8486/the-greek-new-testament-sbl-edition

Logos doesn't have the same features as Bibleworks with regard to the manuscripts. In particular, Bibleworks has it's manuscripts project, which doesn't have a Logos equivalent.
As you know, there are two types of resources that could be useful to you. One is critical apparatuses, which let you know about differences in the manuscripts. Logos has several, including one that was created by them (the SBL apparatus):
- SBL edition - if you don't have it, download it for free
- NA27 edition (NA28 available soon), also available in a bundle
- UBS edition
- Tischendorf
- Henry Alford
None of these apparatuses give you links to the original papyri or manuscripts - they simply let you know the variations, and in which manuscripts they appear.
If you want the manuscripts, you may already have them (I think it was in Logos 4 silver, but I can't remember). It's The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts. You can run text comparisons on the resources in that package, to highlight differences between them:
I don't know what your class requires, but it's likely that with one good apparatus, plus TENTM, you'll be able to follow along quite happily.

Mark-
Thanks for some more extensive info. It is unfortunate that if I added the critical apparatus to my library it is not linked to the resources in the TENTM package. Most of the time, Logos is very good about this. Maybe they will eventually.
I want to hold out on getting the NA28 if possible, but I doubt it will be available before my exegesis class begins on April 8th. I have the SBL edition, but it doesn't seem NEARLY as informative as the apparatus from by physical copy of the UBS4.

Appreciate your responses as well. Thank you for posting a good picture there of a layout - I believe I will try to mimic some of your setup! I will acquire the UBS commentary as well, with that and an apparatus, plus the TENTM, hopefully I'll be able to do what the class will require.

Hi Ben,It seems to me that your professor or school should be looking into the Bibleworks Institutional purchase plan. This could save each student up to $100 from what I read on another forum somewhere. You only need 10 students. You really should have Bibleworks if you are studying Greek at the seminary level [Y]0 -

Hey John, thanks for the input. Yeah, my school would setup the purchase plan for us. However, given the couple grand I've already spent on a Logos library, and that I have my BDAG, BDF, etc. in Logos, I'd hate to have to split between two digital resources if I can at all avoid it. I'd rather spend 250$ in Logos to get the resources I'd need, than 250$ on discounted BibleWorks and split between two resources.
