I have this wonderful piece of technology with a class A software supported by a class A company with wonderful customer service and it plays nice with our dearly beloved Logos software in what I rate as "where the rubber meets the road" ---resources, ideally "text."
The other company is Amazon and the hardware is the kindle in this instance 3G keyboard. I would like to share my experience with exporting text to a Word document. And thus by piecemeal, compiling a document which once completed and saved can be emailed to your kindle email account, found in the manage your kindle site, under the heading "Personal Document Settings."
Just a few pointers as you go. Choose your book. Click on the pointer under the book image. Select print/export. A panel will display. Now you're ready to set to work. The fun will begin after you toil a little. Select "choose these sections. Now in series compile sections of your book. Be very careful not to exceed 100 pgs. In fact it is far better to undercut this limit. The first compilation must be to "Send to a New Document:" remaining compilations must be sent to "Paste into Open Document."
You must be careful to place your cursor at the end of the fully compiled preceding section. If you foul this up your book will not build properly and you will have a mess. Trash it and pay attention this time
If you follow these steps carefully you will have a presentable facsimile of your book as a Word document. Save it so that you can find it and name it relevantly, preferably the given name of the resource.
Now you can email the document to your kindle email account. WiFi is free. So use that. Don't forget to turn your Wireless on. And Baby that's how easy it is to get Logos and kindle to have babies. Congratulations
