Warren Wiersbe's book "Be What You Are" has some verses that are linked/tagged incorrectly. Example:
The “birthmarks” of God’s children. Can a person really know that he or she is a child in God’s family? Of course! The First Epistle of John was written to assure believers that they are the children of God (1 John 5:11–13). Seven times in this letter, the Apostle John uses the phrase “born of God.” If you put these statements together, you discover four “birthmarks” of the true believer:
• practicing righteousness and not sin (2:29; 3:9)
• loving God and other believers (4:7; 5:1)
• overcoming the world (5:4)
• overcoming the devil (5:18)
Wiersbe, W. W. (1988). Be what you are: 12 intriguing pictures of the Christian from the New Testament (13–14). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House.
The references in the "birthmarks" listed should be to 1 John 2:29; 3:9, etc. but when I hover my mouse over them it gives me references to the Gospel of John and not the 1st Letter of John. I think there's some more mistagged verses, but over all I want to make sure they get reported and perhaps Logos will correct them soon.
This book was a great buy along with "Prayer Basic Training." I'm starting a series tomorrow based on the "Be What You Are" book for Sunday morning sermons. Very practical indeed!
Blessings!
