Desc: When I attempt to run the latest Logos Android app, it briefly shows a screen, but then stops and I get the force-close/report thing.  Prior to this, previous versions have run fairly smoothly

Specs: Samsung Galaxy S, android 2.2

Same problem on Kindle Fire. Unisntalled and reinstalled a couple of times, but nothing helped. Force close each time after login.

Also force closing on my Samsung Galaxy S2. But, I discovered that if I quickly close the 2nd panel where the MacArthur Study Bible NASB was open, the program now opens with just one panel open with just the NASB Bible.

So, this appears to be a problem with specific titles that are open. And once again, on a Sunday, the program doesn't work with the one resource that I really need to work - the MacArthur Study Bible NASB. Please fix.

Have you tried restarting your device?  Sometimes that can clear up some gremlins

I take it back.  Now it is happening on my android too.  I attempted restarting the device but that did not help.  I am getting the same result in both Bible and Faithlife

We are working on correcting this force close at startup scenario.

The latest update force closes after startup on certain types of devices after upgrading. It appears that uninstalling/reinstalling the app should correct the issue. We have not been able to reproduce this issue yet so I can't confirm. If somebody experiencing the issue wants to give it a try please post with your results.

Note: Uninstalling the app will delete all your downloaded resources and they will be automatically re-downloaded after reinstall.

I am working to correct this issue and will post an update in the Google Play store hopefully later today. Very sorry about the inconvenience.

This problem is most prevalent on Motorola Droid 2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab devices.

We released a beta 2.3.9 version of the app yesterday that corrects the problem related to opening certain resources on certain Android devices. This new version should be submitted and available from the Google Play store later today.

If possible I would recommend waiting for the upgrade coming later today via the Google Play store.
