Bug

When uploading video it gets done and says there has been an error. It gives me the option to retry or cancel. This happens with both h264 files and mpeg4 files. This has been going on for 3 weeks now.

Ive had the same problem but when I hit retry it starts at 99% and completes successfully

I have the same problem, too. I'm in the same boat as George. I'm getting very frustrated with this. I was told it's a connectivity issue. However, I'm not sure I can buy that 100%. I think it's an issue with Proclaim's uploads. Who knows?

If one of you could post the full Proclaim.log file from a session which reproduces the failed upload I'll take a look.

Mac:

/Users/[username]/(~Library)/Application Support/Proclaim/Logging/
The Library folder might be hidden. If so, hit CMD+Shift+G and enter "~/library" into the box.

Windows:

XP - %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\
Vista/Win7 - %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\

Thanks Josh. I was able to track down an error related to your upload in our server logs so it looks like it's our issue, not yours. We'll be investigating further shortly.

Question - are you able to "Retry" the failed job or does it never succeed?

Yes, I can hit "retry" and it usually goes through right away, or sometimes it takes a couple of times. But, yes, it usually goes through. Thanks for tracking this down. It's been bugging me! :-)

Did you see my original log that was attached? Does that help any? Please let us know when you get this fixed. Very frustrating!
