I would like to have a copy of the The Saint John's Bible in Logos. More info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Saint_John's_Bible
It's beautiful, and I'd love to have a facsimile of it. But it's completely handwritten. Wouldn't making it a Logos book ruin the very aspect of it that makes it special -- a work of art? In order to be able to search and select text, they'd have to convert each page from images to text (with illustrations), so they'd have to use a font that looks like the calligraphic writing but would be uniform by very nature of it being a computer font. I'm a student of calligraphy, so I'm just as interested in the lettering and all its lovely variations as I am in the illuminations, and for me, doing it as a computer font would deaden what is alive about this particular text.
The Bible can be purchased in several volumes on Amazon if anyone is interested.
