I really like the concept of the clippings in Logos 4. My problem is that I don't seem to be able to get the footnote references to work correctly when using clippings.
When I copy text directly into my word processor in Logos 4 it works properly. The reference citation automatically saves the correct information in a footnote. I set the citation style in my program settings to Turabian and it works great. However, when I copy the same information into a clipping and then copy the clipping into my word processor no reference material is copied into a footnote. Also, when I flip the clipping to view the Bibliographic Info it always defaults to APA style instead of Turabian. In addition, even when I manually tell it to use Turabian is does not properly use the Turabian citation style when I copy and paste the material.
This will limit the usefulness of clippings for me when writing formal papers.
