I can purchase the BAR issues 1975-2003 but the CD has the Libronix Symbol on the CD cover. Will I be able to import this into Logos 5 if I get the BAR CD? If so, what will I not be able to do with these resources?
Easiest way, if you live in the US, is call the Logos customer service line, and give them the serial number. Then it automatically downloads into your Logos5.
The CD you bought is one of the best I ever bought. So many of my searches end up in a BAR article with a decent discussion and even pictures!
Just make sure you purchase these from a reliable source to ensure that the "license" has never been used before! Then, you will be able to get absolutely full use of your resources in Logos 5 -- no problem! *smile*

Peace and Every Blessing, Denise! *smile*
When I phone Logos from Canada here, I just use the same 1-800 phone number you do in Arizona. Logos also has a special long-distance number in the U.K. Also, in the past some from Australia, South Africa, and other places have used Skype!
Special blessings to you, Denise, also for giving Unix "a boost"!!! *smile*
Thanks, it is being sold by Dallas Theological Seminary just right down the road.
Thanks, I use to keep Libronix 3 around just to get the license installed in my account and then update with Logos 4.
I heard they had a update that would 2004-2005 but I also know BAR has their own website now that sales yearly subscriptions. Do you know if the 2004-1005 update is still available and where I might be able to get it.
Those 3 CDs (BAR, BR and Odessey) were on sale at the BAR website. Cheaper that what Rejoice sold them for.
I saw those CDs but only BR mentions Libronix. To me it sounded like these were made to be used by some software that BAS has created. Can these three CDs content be brought into Logos? Like many others, I am trying to get everything into Logos so I have one place for study/research.

Yes, but you should be able to see the Libronix logo on the jewel case image. I got all three and they have are libronix compatible.

Only if they are indeed Libronix.
EDIT: I just visited the site and it appears that they are.
I'm going to tell you what I know and hopefully it will answer your questions. The BAR 1975-2005 CDROM Libronix format is the last of a breed. Going forward the production will be a DVD the next version of which will cover 2006-2012. This is projected to be available for sale around the end of the year. It will not be Libronix compatible.
In addition there is an online addition which will be available for annual subscription for a fee of around $29.00. There are no plans for the Society and Logos to collaborate on any future projects, due exclusively to cost incurred to the Society.
So my advice to all interested parties in the co-produced products presently available, jump in now for tomorrow is not promised.

This is true. I just bought all three from BAS and confirm they are all Libronix CDs. They arrived sealed and with serial numbers securely inside the documentation. I called Logos Customer Service and gave them the serial numbers. They were unlocked and downloaded in minutes.
Now if only RCS would sell me the Biblical Archaeologist CD I would have the Ultimate Archaeology Bundle. [:)] But they are not answering their emails....[:(]
I ordered BAR from the Biblical Archaeology Society earlier today (prompted after reading the first post above.) I double checked the ISBN for this resource and it matched that listed by Rejoice Christian Software, so I took the plunge. Seems like a good buy at $67.50 (excl. postage.)
Received my BAR CD-ROM today and Logos have unlocked it to my account. After downloading and indexing, it looks like only one of the 178 volumes of this publication has a cover picture. Here's a screenshot from my library:
Is this the same for others with this resource, or has there been some error in downloading and/or indexing. Thanks.

When I open the resource the front cover appears but the info panels are all missing the covers. I hope this is an error that can be corrected.
It's already noted on http://wiki.logos.com/Metadata_correction_proposals.

This may be the same issue as is for the Discipleship Journal... No cover art. [:(]
Just an update, these are still available on closeout from BAR for $34.95 + $7.00 shipping. That is a very good deal.
