The whole purpose of Faithlife is communication. Isn't reply and post the same?

Maggie, We are assuming you are referring to FaithLife. Are we correct? Or are you referring to a blog or this Logos forum?

Yes, i am referring to Faithlife.  We are going to let members to do daily devotional bible study, they can reply to the relevant topic.  But, we are not going to let them to post any news, topics on the it, or upload any documents.  That's the problem.  Thx.

    Hi Maggie

    Thanks for the clarification.

Does the answer Mick referenced above give you what you want?

If not, can you please outline what is still lacking once you have set permissions as per his suggestion?

    Thanks Graham,

Can't.  In the group setting, Faithlife has preset the right of members to Post, I can't restrict it to reply only.  Also, thanks Mick.

    Maggie,

sorry for that, I checked again and see now. You can't take it away from members, just extend to other groups if you wish.

I think the list of configurable access rights has grown from last time. Does it work for you to give "Followers" all the rights they should have for your group (the Read... and Reply... ones) and just assign your group members as Followers? Or are they missing relevant information then, which is internally hardwired to members?
