Getting Bible on first screen

Hi folks. I am now running this on both an Android smartphone and an Android tablet. When I open the app in the smartphone, it opens to the Bible text - which is what I want.

On the tablet, after a sign in flash screen, it opens to a split screen, with the larger section on the left all the books in my library. What I really want is for it to open immediately to the one Bible text I have downloaded. How do I get it to do that? The app is short on instructions.
