Some people follow Dana's lengthy thread on collection breakups and don't want comments (which is good).
Anyway she just broke up the Brazos Theological Commentary http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41600.aspx?PageIndex=14
I normally avoid theological commentaries like the plague (sort of who knows WHAT is inside??).
But the volume on 1 Samuel is sooooo refreshing. The commentary is written from a 'Christian' standpoint and she brings in quite a number of church father comments and their thinking, along with great discussion on the related archaeology.
It's not easy to read Murphy, without having a very good time of it!

EDIT: One thing I notice in ordering it, is that the checkout defaults to breaking the payment up. The book is $35 and it splits it into 2 payments of $22 (rounding). Now ... think about that. Of course after checking out, it's not in Libronix (as I was afraid of), so tomorrow I'll have to trade Francesca in for Amazon. That's not a comment on Logos; just I try not to load up on Logos5 format books.
