In creating a passage List, I arranged 60 texts according to themes but the texts were not in bible book order.
Just wondering whether if I click 'sort' and the texts are put into order, can I then un-sort and revert to original.
Hi Norman
You can do this using the "Undo" option (Ctrl-Z on Windows, Cmd-Z on Mac).

Hi Graham. Did try to do that but didn't work

Did try to do that but didn't work
Interesting...
To test this I created a PL by typing in the three references:
When I press the Sort button, the order is changed to:
When I "undo" it reverts back to the original sequence.
Can you summarise the differences you are seeing?
I am running this on Windows? What OS are you using?
PS: Apologies for not uploading screenshots - the bug which has been preventing that recently seems to be back
You need to press Ctrl-Z immediately after an operation for Undo to work. If you do something else in between, it will clear the undo cache.
Yes just tried it with five texts and it worked. Not sure why it din't work with 60 texts but thanks for that
Hi Rosie
I assume as long as you don't change the page, it should work. I didn't do anything in between
This seems to be a case where that isn't required.
I added a few passages to the PL, sorted it and then run a Passage Guide and entered some text into a notesfile.
I then returned focus to the PL and executed the Undo function and it unwound the things which I had done - including the sort and taking away each reference one at a time.
Interestingly this only works using the Undo function in the menu, Ctrl-Z only seems to take it back one step. This seems like some form of "focus bug" to me.
