Visual Filters

None of the visual filters I have created are showing up in the visual filters drop-down when I open a resource. They show up under the documents tab but not in the resource. What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to the forums!
As for visual filters not showing up, there are many reasons how this could happen. Let me ask this: how are you creating your visual filters, and where are you wanting them to show up?
You may also want to look at the wiki (a great source of information) on visual filters here: http://wiki.logos.com/Visual_Filter

Thank you, Richard!
I had initially created this morphology visual filter in Logos 4, and it worked just fine. This is the first time I have tried to use it in L5, and it didn't show up at all in my visual filters drop-down list within my ESV. So, I re-created it thinking perhaps it had something to do with the change from version 4 to 5. Still no luck. Neither of the filters shop up in the list.

Hi Danielle
These was a change to tagging in Logos 5 which means you need to use "Logos Hebrew Morphology" as opposed to "Andersen-Forbes"
Give that a go and see if that helps

Graham,
Thank you. I changed it from Andersen-Forbes to Logos Hebrew, and it still does not show up as an option.

That's strange - and I see it's not listing any "Community Notes" or "Notes" either which should appear before the "Reading Plans" entry.
Do you have community notes enabled and do you have any notes which could show up against the ESV.
What is the Support Info for your copy of the ESV? (available at the bottom of the page which you get when pressing the "i" button at the top right of the resource)
Mine is dated 2012-11-01

Graham,
I think I found part of the issue. I decided to start from scratch and created a filter with the Logos Hebrew Morphology. When I tried to add the line item with Noun, Divine nouns, it did not give me the option to select "divine." This should be sufficient for the project I'm working on, but I'm thinking there's got to be a way for me to create a filter which will highlight divine nouns. Do you think the Andersen Forbes morphology issues will be fixed at some point?

Glad you have got some filters working

As per the discussion in http://community.logos.com/forums/t/67165.aspx I don't think this is something we are going to see changing anytime soon as Logos are going to continue moving ahead with the use of their own tagging. It is recognised that this does remove some functionality and (as you will see in that thread) there have been requests for this A-F tagging to be added as well.
An approach to this type of issue - which recognises that AF tagging is still available in the AF resource - is shown at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/62121/439282.aspx
Does this help at all?

Graham,
Yes, this is helpful! Thank you so much for your guidance this morning. I was in a bit of a panic when I thought the filters weren't working at all!
