Where is "rebuild index" in A7?

Thank you very much for all the work that has been put into Logos for Mac.... it is REALLY looking great!

I lost my KJV a few builds ago and I am wondering if re-indexing would bring it back. Is this a possibility and if so I can't find the "rebuild index" option.

Re-indexing probably wouldn't bring it back if it's missing from your Library Catalog.

However, try this:

1) Close Logos 4

2) Removing all the files in the Library Catalog directory in <homedir>/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some random stuffs>/Library Catalog

3) Launch Logos 4

This should force the app to re-discover all of your resources. If that doesn't work, let me know.

What are the indicators of someone needing to rebuild their index?

Does everyone need to do that?

Generally a corrupt index is the only reason you'd want to do it. There was a bug that went out with Alpha 5 or Alpha 5 Update that could've corrupted your indexer if you added new resources.

However, unless you're getting weird search results (e.g. you searched for "Jesus" and are getting results back for "stresses"), then your index is probably fine and re-indexing isn't necessary.
