MAC Version will not allow inserting of WMV File

I tried to insert (locally since file upload still does not work) a WMV file but once it was inserted into the media slideshow it would not play. I was using the MAC version and my MAC has the plug in that allows WMV files to play so i do not understand why Proclaim will not allow it to play.
