The voting panel seems to have the names reversed, Nathan, with Lloyd-Jones designated as "Modern" and Carson as "Legacy." I wasn't paying close attention and voted for Carson when I meant to vote for Lloyd-Jones.

Prior to voting, the names are displaying correctly:

However, the plugin was defaulting to display the winning author on the right hand side. We're working to remedy this.

You most likely voted correctly, however, the way it was displaying winners could create a little confusion.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I don't think this round is even going to be close. Although I was hoping for Lloyd-Jones it looks like Carson is going to win again!

Thanks, Nathan. You must be right. After I voted and saw the reversal, I did a double take. Lloyd-Jones is in italics, so my vote with the minority must have accurately registered. [:D]

What do you mean "again"? He's never won! [:D]

Anyway, I too was hoping Lloyd-Jones would win this time. From a potential savings point of view I think there is likely far more value to be had from a Lloyd-Jones victory than from one for Carson. I'm not really sure what Carson titles people think Logos are going to conjure up.

Oops, my mistake. I was thinking about NT Wright and the fact that he has won everything so far. I was also thinking that the two of them might win in future years too.

I can understand the reasoning behind most of the voting to this point.  I was supprised that Jones out voted Spurgeon, as the "Prince of Preachers" is almost required reading for everyone. Looking back, though I did just buy the 72 volume set of Spurgeon Sermons, which I seem to be spending a good deal of time reading and looking up the passages and studing the passages Spurgeon used in his sermons. Maybe God, will answer our pray, and Jones will pull out a victory for us. lol [:O]
