Somewhere along the way in the various updates, the list of books in the library has started to really slow down.
My library size has not really changed (2 or 3 new books added), but now it takes quite a long time to list the books in the library. The list is sorted by Title in the column view, as I always have done. It used to take a 1/2 to 1 second to list the books. If I entered a word to filter the list, it still came up in less than a second.
But now if I just open the library browser in a window, it takes 6-7 second to list the books. If I add a filter word, such as "Greek", it takes 10 or 11 seconds to list the books. Something has changed to make selecting books far less pleasant than it used to be. I just ran this same test on Logos 4.6a SR4 on the same computer, it still takes about 1/2 to list the books, even when the list is filtered.
I am using Logos 5.1 beta 3 on for Windows 7 x64 with 8GB and a fast i7 quad core processor.
My guess it something was changed when Logos added the option to filter by collections.
Has anyone else noticed the change?
