Recovering Logos Personal Books

I wiped my system and reinstalled Logos 5. I went from Windows 7 to Windows 8, so my username is now different. The problem is the file path to my personal books includes the old user name when the new one is different.
How do I fix/change this?
Thanks!

I get the message
Error while building book: Could not open file C:\Users\Zachary3\Documents\Libronix DLS\Zach's Docx E-Books\20 Retirement Decisions You Need to Make - Ray Levitre.docx. Please close any other applications that may have the file open and try again.
The problem is the files are now located in
C:\Users\Zachb_000\Documents\Libronix DLS\Zach's Docx E-Books
So is there a way to change the path to look for or do I need to rebuild every single file? Not an easy or quick task.
EDIT:
Also, I have the entire Logos 4 files backed up if that helps at all.

Rename \Zachb_000 to \Zachary3

Can't do that in Windows 8, it would mess up the entire system.

If you are fully satisfied with the ebooks, and will NEVER want to rebuild them for ANY reason, you can dig out the compiled books from your L4 installation and scan for them. Personally, I would want to have the ability to tweak them when necessary, so I use dropbox to sync the .docx files.

Where are they located in the logos 4 installation directory? I have all of the .docx in a folder, so rebuilding them if needed is not a problem. I just want to avoid rebuilding them all now all at once if it is unnecessary.

I'm sorry, but I don't know. I've never done it, and my PC experience is 15 years old. Here is a link that might help: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/42036/313207.aspx#313207

That link didn't really help, but thanks! Does anyone else have any ideas?

It appears you will have to compile each PB. Select Edit for a PB, click the docx file in 2. Add Body Files and press Delete key (or right click and select Delete) and then use the Add File button.

You could create a symbolic link from the old folder name to the new one, which saves you having to tell Logos all the files have moved.

Hey Mark,
How do I create a symbolic link?

Isn't there a way I can move the old re-compiled files from the old installation to the new one?
Also, can I edit something in logos to change the file path of where the Personal Books are stored?

See http://www.windows7home.net/how-to-create-symbolic-link-in-windows-7/ (will work in W8)
e.g. mklink /J "C:\Users\Zachary3\Documents\Libronix DLS\Zach's Docx E-Books" "C:\Users\Zachb_000\Documents\Libronix DLS\Zach's Docx E-Books"
NB. you first have to create the folder "C:\Users\Zachary3\Documents\Libronix DLS"

Yes. Copy *.lbspbb files from the resources folder to a removable drive and use the scan command in the new installation
e.g. scan e:\Resources
and restart Logos.

No.

Seems like a silly oversight by Logos imo.

You mean changing where personal books are stored? Personally, I think it is good that Logos doesn't provide this option… it provides more opportunities for headaches trying to trouble shoot when users who shouldn't be messing around with such things start doing so. [;)]
Of course, I could be wrong. I always reserve the rights to revise and extend my remarks at a later date. [:)]

I moved the resources like you said Dave but scanning as you mentioned did not work.

Did you restart after entering the scan command?
