Bug: Song slide settings not retained

We currently have Proclaim linked to a CCLI/Song Select account which we use to pull song lyrics into Proclaim. We then edit the song slides so that they conform with the church's preferred format. We then differentiate these edited versions of the songs with the suffix 'FW' as per the screenshot below.

We have noticed that although Proclaim retains the majority of the changes, the option 'Show credits on...' always reverts to 'first lyric slide' (when adding a previously edited song to a new presentation). Our preferred format is for the credits to appear on the last lyric slide.

Although a minor irritation, I presume that this is a bug (and am consequently flagging it as such).

Hi Travis,

We have a bunch of songs (perhaps 60 to 100) that we have pulled from SongSelect and then edited in order to ensure that the format is consistent. In order to track which songs have been thus edited, we add the suffix FW (to differentiate between the formatted and unformatted songs).

One of the formatting changes we consistently make to the songs pulled from SongSelect is to change the credits to display on the last slide.

When, on any given Sunday, we pull up a reformatted song (with the suffix FW) all of the changes to the formatting are saved, with the single exception that the credits always default to display on the first slide.

In order to illustrate this, I have pulled up the presentation from last Sunday morning. You will note that, in the song below, the credits are set to display on the last slide (I personally added this song and made this change). The song is differentiated with the suffix, FW,

When I now create a new presentation and pull up the same song, the formatting is retained as expected (this is, after all, saved with 'My Songs'), but the credits default to display on the first slide,

In other words, every single time I add a song to any presentation I have to again manually change the credit to display on the last, rather than the first, slide.

For completeness, this behaviour is consistent between three different PCs and one Mac.

Does this make sense? Please let me know if you require any further information.

Ok I see now, thank you for your detailed description. We now have a bug open for this issue so it should be fixed soon.

In the meantime, instead of adding a song service item and searching for your song, you can click the "Add Item" menu and search for the name of the song under reuse items. This will duplicate the song service item you had set up, including all settings.
