Send article from the Desktop software to Android app

There have been many times I've wanted to continue where I left off on an article I've been reading on my desktop. I would really love to be able to click a "send article to iPad, android, etc" button.

Hi Brian
if the resource is currently unopened on your mobile device, when you open it it should open to the same place as on your desktop.
Is this not happening?

Hi Graham. No, that doesn't seem to be happening.

Strange - some questions:
- Do you have "use Internet" set to "yes" in your desktop app?
- What versions of desktop and mobile software are you using?
- as a test, can you open a book you haven't read before on your desktop, move to a particular page in the book and then close it. Allows Logos to sync and then open the same resource on your iPad and let us know whether it opened at the start of the resource or where you left off on the desktop?
There have been reports of this not working under some scenarios - I think Alabama wrote a post summarising this somewhere - but the steps above should help us understand what is going on a bit better.

Okay, so I tried the test. Apparently, I needed to close my desktop software in order to make it work. Here's another question. How do I get the process to happen in reverse order, from android app to desktop?

Hi Brian
That sounds good, so it looks as though this may be a synchronisation issue.
You shouldn't need to close your desktop software, just ensure that it syncs. Synchronisation is indicated by the two small circular arrows at the top right of the main screen. Try clicking on them to force sync as opposed to shutting down your software.
Going the reverse direction should work in the same way, just needing to force a sync.
This can be done (I think) in the android app by switching to the main menu.
Do this, wait a couple of minutes, sync the desktop software and open the resource there and see what happens.
if it is already open on the desktop it will stay open at that place.
