A7 and re-indexing: Does everyone need to re-index?

Regarding the Alpha 7 release notes, can someone clarify whether or not all Mac Alpha users need to run the manual re-index command? If not, then which users need to? Only those who installed a certain previous alpha?

You will only need to reindex if you have errors (not finding what you expect, opening books to the wrong spot etc.) in your search. There was a bug when indexes were merged that made search results all screwy. So, if you haven't merged indexes you shouldn't have to reindex.

The index is a list/database of every word, morph/syntax tag etc in your library. When you run a search it looks at the index instead of sorting through each book. The index allows Logos to search very quickly. If your index is corrupt (i.e. giving you bad searches) you can type "rebuild index" (no quotation marks) into the command line and it should reindex your library.
