It would help me if I could see the name of the current layout somewhere on the screen, even if only when I click the layout button. Perhaps the name could have an asterisk next to it if I've changed from the saved version.

I've had the same thought - then considered how often I change what resources are open. What I really want is for Logos to read my mind as to whether or not I consider it a new layout.
