Logos 4 for Mac Indexing Causing Overheating?

I don't think the problem is Logos but before I made the 3 1/2 hour trip to the nearest Apple Store to have my MacBook looked at, I thought I would ask here.

Has anyone else experienced unusually high temperatures on their Mac portables while Logos 4 is indexing? Let me elaborate.

The load temperature norm for my MacBook is around 77C. While Logos 4 is indexing, I will see temps over 90C (water boils at 100C!). I figure this is my MacBook being crazy but I wanted to check. Any helpful input would be much appreciated.

Michael,

I don't have Mac experience but Windows users have reported high temps during indexing; they used fans to keep things cool...

It probably is Logos. The indexing is very CPU intensive, so it warms up the laptop. I know I had to set my Macbook up on two separated books so air could flow underneath to help keep it cool.

Awesome, thanks Robert (and Kevin). I figured it was just the work load. I have the fan manually cranked on the MacBook until it's done.
